Theme Day: Contrast

Building reflected in convex mirro, LivornoIf I have to explain what kind of contrast is this, then I missed completely this theme day...
The contrast I see is between the image in this road side mirror on the “Scali d'Azeglio” and our real world.

AWSOME photo!

You may not have had to explain the contrast to yourself because, obviously, you're a lot smarter than I am...and, sad to say, I needed the explanation. And it's a good one.

The photo's so good it gives me goosebumps! Thy middle name is "Artisto"!

Distortion from reality is indeed a form of contrast. A nice twisted take on the theme and a SUPER photo !

Very cool photo. I can never walk by a traffic mirror and not take a photo these days. Love the blue and yellow here.

It is stunning! At first I thought it is your look through oval mirror on the road.

Beautiful photo, I think it's perfect for a contrast theme day.

Um. I'm also glad you explained the contrast. I would have been looking within the image. It is an excellent photo! Thanks for pointing out "bulbous bows." I had not heard of it before and it doesn't seem intuitive! The anchor chain, yes, there's a lot of tension on it. We can tell what the tide in the river is doing by which way the ship is facing in relation to the anchor chain.

Very good! It's almost surreal thanks the blue sky rather than a wall behind the mirror. Bellissima
