Inspired by Fort Lauderdale Daily Photo and his relentless pursuit of “strange things that people put in front of their homes”, I have been canvassing Livorno for the same stuff. It's not easy here, too many apartment buildings, but we already got some proud lions and, this time, some bored angels.I know that they look more like “putti” than angels, but I didn't like “bored putti” as a title...

Put them in the dishwasher! That'll cheer them up.
Ahh, I think the top one is cute. I might even put it in my garden somewhere.
They look more like little imps than angels...and I think the are collaborating together on some sneaky, snarky tricks to play on the inhabitants of Livorno...
So, you'd better watch out!
sorry, these are just too adorable to be compared with those wooden indians. but nice try.
Those are so lovely.
Maybe they wouldn't be so bored if they were moved around every now and then. :) They are kind of cute.
Cherubs, looking for mischief! CUTE!
Ah i putti livornesi annoiati!
:-)
Splendida serie: il primo è davvero bellissimo!
Someone make them laugh, please!
I love them!!! And I don't think they are bored - rather they are thoughtful:)
Happy Sunday!
Oh this is so funny. And Per's comment is to die for.
What does putti means?
@ White Oleander - I've added a link to the post.
Ah, wonderful and sweet little angels. Love it! Keep looking ...although I don't think you'll find any of B SQUARED's cigar store Indians.
The first one does look a little bored, but the second one looks more like he's wishing the first one would notice him!
This reminds meof my visit to the weird garden! But these looks more normal.
I like them, they look so cute.
I like them too, especially the angle of that second photograph!
Thank you so much for your burst of comments yesterday, VP. It is so very much appreciated.
They don't look bored to me. They look sweet & contemplative.
No! You made it look bored on the second photo. They are just dreaming of their future mischievousness :)
Nice. This post makes me smile. I'll have to look up "putti." I would have called them angels, too.
So putti are young cherubs??? Oh, well. Great post.
@ Julie - It was a real pleasure, I got lost in those places...
@ Ilse, Ellie - You're both probably right...
They look lovely in your photos!
They're not bored... just deep thinkers ;-)
