Nice details. The "top" photo is my favorite. I used my camera today and took a photo inspired by your photos last Tuesday.... I might put it up tomorrow or the day after.
These are nice photos considering the compositions and other aspects! I like the last one as that photo shows a potential energy (unable to explain better). Gives me a feeling of being prepared for something....
Hello dear friend, I like this kind of signs a lot! Here in Luxembourg "no way" to the ocean!LOL So that, I think it would be difficult to take a picture like these! The second shot is my favourite, I liked your composition and also for the angle! Cool post! Léia :)
These are great. The first one looks so delicate and intricate; the second is a great composition; the last one is also a great composition and great color scheme.
Really like these pictures. I work right new the Boston Harbor. I am often amazed that the harbor here is one of the largest natural harbors in the world. Once Boston was one of the busiest ports in the world. Now there is very little going except pleasure boats & oil tankers. Hard to imagine that our harbor was once a wild & wooly place for all sorts of shady characters. All the old warehouses are among the most expensive condos in Boston. Waterfront views.

Anchors aweigh! The anchor is an inveterate symbol of Navies and Navy personnel. I like them. Nice shots, VP!
The Case of the Three Anchors...sort of sounds like something Sherlock Holmes might investigate.
I am really enjoying this series of theme posts! The subjects are fantastic and the photos just great! I wonder what comes next! :-)
These are really beautiful.
Very interesting theme and series of photos.
Great idea for a post. I like anchors, it's really interesting to see the different types.
I love the first photo.
The anchor on the gate is imressive.
What an unusual subject! Great series and a bit surprising:)
The front gate is terrific.
I'll be perverse and tell you I really like that brick wall. It has just the right number of shades of rust to be very pleasing to look at!

I guess it's no surprise that a port city should have so many decorative anchors!
Wonderful finds! I would think there'd be more, Livorno being what it is. Love the second one especially.
There must have been a successful business making those back in the day.

So many anchors to be held in place. Love the first one, it's very original.
LOts of anchors here, too! Because we're on the great lakes! Nice.
I would have never thought to look closer at the shiny pretty thing on the big fence! Great detail! The other two are easier to spot - lovely series.
I really like the first photo. The yellow colour is unusual for a harbour.
