Thank you for sharing these. The canal restaurant looks very romantic...I hope you took Trillian there!

And the flea market? Always a lot of fun.

I like the colorful tree, too, as well as that last shot with the diners eating below clothes drying on the line above them! Funny!

I really like the first picture. All shots are excellent but the water ones are the best. A wonderful place. MB

I'm glad to see your blog again! My family and I just returned last night from a month of visiting relatives in Sweden and Norway! Come and see the CDP blogger I met in Norway on my blog today!

I love the first photo. That pink house and the reflections are perfect! I'm glad the festival is over and you can get back to quiet times.

What a lovely moment to capture that dusty rose building... the lighting just adds to the romance. I really enjoy walking through street markets (even if I often don't buy anything) and this one too looks interesting. I'm glad Jacob pointed out the laundry in your last shot... charming, not at all like the laundry I see in China! :-D

Because of your posts, I googled your fair city and it does indeed look like a great place to visit. If we decide to do that in 2011, when do you think it would be good to visit...what month? Thanks!

@ Kate - Winter is (usually) a mild thing here January and February are the colder months.
Summer (July-August) can be quite hot and if you plan to go inland (Pisa, Florence or Siena) try to avoid these months.
You could be lucky with early or late summer, spring or fall.
