Something strange is happening around the palm trees in “Piazza del Municipio” (Town Hall Square). Their base has ben taped off and a section of the trunk shows a sort of wide bandage.
The mystery is solved if you look closer: two mouse traps are waiting for rodents. It seems that some daring rats climb the trunk in search of food: not a welcoming sight for the busloads of cruise tourists stopping nearby.See also: Piazza del Municipio
