Mascagni's Organ

Inside the church of San Benedetto we can still see the organ used by the young Pietro Mascagni to practice music. A plaque remembering this is set in the wall below the instrument.

Dio sapienza infinita Creatore delle divine armonie Rivelò in questa chiesa Il genio musicale di Pietro Mascagni Che giovinetto a quest'organo Trasse ispirazione e provò le sue prime melodie
