CCGS “Simon Fraser” was a buoy tender operated by the Canadian Coast Guard. That's not getting retrofitted anytime soon.
Good name though- he was an explorer here, and one of our universities is named for him.
This looks like a sad end for a once proud and well built ship. Good photo.
