At 462 meters above sea level, Poggio Lecceta is the highest of the Colline Livornesi (Livornese Hills) and this oversized golf ball on its top is the radar of a weather station.

My first thought was astronomical station.
Imagine if a giant came along, carrying a huge golf club.
Who knows? Given how globally interconnected we are, maybe date collected from this station helped with our local forecasts recently.
That golf ball is very eye-catching !
I'd say this is a perfect place for this installation.
i was going to say that it looks like a big golf ball!
I'll bet that's one golf ball I could hit! Very cool photo!
Originale questa stazione meteo! Ciao, Arianna
I never doubted Lowell would come up with a funny comment!
