Lux Nautis Securitas
This is a monument to the Navy crews who once manned our lighthouses: it was erected in 1993 inside the Porto Mediceo. Last Sunday I was quite surprised to see that it wasn't there anymore...
The plaque that was on the base of the monument: “Lux nautis securitas” (Light safety for the sailors), 1993.

A mystery! I hope you'll tell us how it turns out.
Strange that it was removed. Perhaps moved to another location?
I hope you will tell us what happened!
Where did it go?
A mystery.
Repairs maybe? It's a bit strange VP, now we all are curious to know what happened to it!
Strange... a mystery !
No idea where it could be?
Tell us what happened when you find it out. :-)
That's just weird. Perhaps it was relocated to give it more prominence. I hope.
Hopefully moved to a better location!
???? I hope it's elsewhere too. Now you'll have to hunt for it!
Oi. Metal thieves?
Sounds like a mystery to be explored!
