I'm a total disaster when it comes to plant names, but during my visit at the Orti Urbani I was able to recognize this gorgeous tobacco plant, not very common around here.

At one point in history, most of southern Virginia was covered with tobacco.
There are a handful of places in this province that grow tobacco, but I've never seen the plant myself.
Looks gorgeous! Beautiful light there VP.
These plants have such large leaves.
My first time to see a tobacco plant. So big.
Nice juxtaposition of two "highrises."
I don't think I've ever seen one in Europe!
Neanch'io mi intendo di piante...bella perĂ² questa del tabacco! Ciao, Arianna
I enjoy a very occasional cigar... love the aroma. Others don't. That's life, baby!
A tobacco plant growing in a garden? Odd.
