Awnings

Window awnings, Venice quarter, LivornoA building facing the canal, in the Venice quarter, not far from the “Fortezza Nuova”.

I thought most Italians use shutters to deal with the sun. I appreciate the need to get some shielding from the sun, but these awnings aren't my favorites.

I don't think that Jack enjoys the "feminine pink" color and the design. I think they're wonderful!

Jack - You are right about the shutters, but this is a restaurant, not a house. By the way, I don't like them very much either, maybe it's the color, as Kate says!
