Latin America

El Gringo, cocina Mexicana, Livorno
“Via Bosi”

Caffé Haiti, Livorno
“Via Grande”

Floridita Caffè, Livorno
“Via Gramsci”

Ernest Hemingway used to say “My mojito in La Bodeguita, my daiquiri in El Floridita”. He would have been happy in Livorno, because, like in Havana, we also have “La bodeguita”.

How interesting a geography lesson. About seven years now that I had my last mojito, way too many back than though.
Please have a good Wednesday.

What fantastic signage VP, methinks Hemmingway would have been more than at home here in Livorno, as I'm sure we all would be!!

It is interesting to me that even in an Italian port town, there are restaurants and bars with a Caribbean flavor.

I hope you treated yourself to something good in one of these places.
