This plant, which I saw at the Terrazza Mascagni, has several downsides: it is considered an invasive species, it could be toxic to animals, but it is really loved by bees and birds. (Already posted on Instagram)
The training ship “Amerigo Vespucci” during her short stay in port: one of the three officers on the stern balcony is the Captain. The ship will be back in Livorno in October, after a 13-week training campaign.
After two years the “Amerigo Vespucci” is back in Livorno. The 85-year-old ship was completely refurbished at the La Spezia Navy shipyard. (Already posted on Instagram)
This new sculpture has been in the piazza of the Scoglio della Regina for more than a year, still covered and waiting for a formal unveiling. The wind disagrees and has repeatedly unveiled partially the body, which has been covered again, to no avail. Please free this statue, soon and for good!
