Through the Arch

The “Ovo Sodo” (Benci Centro) support team is waiting to lead its rowers to a training session.

Through the arch of the San Benedetto bridge we can see the rowers coming from their “cantina”.

The motor boat begin to pull the “gozzo” along the “Fosso Reale”, heading toward the open waters.

  2. I would not have thought the row boats would be pulled out into the open water. But now that I think about it, all those oars would probably connect with other boats, bridges, buoys, etc. Very interesting!

  14. It looks as if no one is paying much attention to the tow line or the relation between the two boats. Will that ore sticking out on the port side make it through the arch? Interesting.
