The “Ovo Sodo” (Benci Centro) support team is waiting to lead its rowers to a training session.
Through the arch of the San Benedetto bridge we can see the rowers coming from their “cantina”.
The motor boat begin to pull the “gozzo” along the “Fosso Reale”, heading toward the open waters.

I like the yellow stars on their boat.
ReplyDeleteI would not have thought the row boats would be pulled out into the open water. But now that I think about it, all those oars would probably connect with other boats, bridges, buoys, etc. Very interesting!
ReplyDeleteThat arch just frames it perfectly.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a very pleasant afternoon.
ReplyDeleteI would be interested to see them row along.
ReplyDeleteCool 'preparation' shots!
ReplyDelete"Getting there is half the fun!"
ReplyDeleteNicely captured. I like the colors/ lines in the water and the way you composed these images.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a day of hard work!
ReplyDeleteI love this series of images through the arch VP.. I have a weakness for arches AND nautical scenes, so to me this is a double bonus..
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set of images VP.
ReplyDeleteI like the way the colors are reflected in the water.
ReplyDeleteSo that's how they do it. Nice photos.
ReplyDeleteI like the photos with the arch, and I like the name of the support team :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if no one is paying much attention to the tow line or the relation between the two boats. Will that ore sticking out on the port side make it through the arch? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteA great POV, no doubt about it.
