Saracino

Saracino boat, gozzetta, LivornoThis boat looks like a refurbished “gozzetta” and has an unusual name, “Saracino” (Saracen), for the city of the Four Moors.Anglers, New Harbour, LivornoAnglers in a boat seen from under the “Ponte Nuovo” (New Bridge) on the “Fosso Reale”.

  1. I couldn't find a translation for "gozzetta." Both photos are of boats that look like they'd be easy to navigate. Esp. like the blue.

  9. Passion has no limit, if the photos are recently taken. It is so cold here, that I cannot imagine how people can manage to stay in a boat for hours, for fishing.
