Fosso Reale

Fosso Reale, Mercato Centrale at night, LivornoUsually I don't take my camera out at night, I'm not good with dark. But this was the night of the football match for the “Serie A”, so I took it just in case. Passing the bridge on the “Fosso Reale” I saw this sky, dark but not yet black, and I liked it.

    This photo turned out great. I'm not good with pictures at night either.

    So I'm back and uploaded plenty of photos:)

    That's a fantastic photograph - the color, the composition, the cureved line - it is just gantastic! You are now officially excellent night time photographer! How did you hold the camera steady?

    @ Tash - The camera was sitting steady on the flat balustrade of the bridge, no great merit in this.

    Very good shot! I use very often balustrades, walls etc. to take night-photos as well:)

    It's a beautiful photo! The colours and reflections are gorgeus!
    You shoul take your camera more often when you go out at nigt:)

    You should start go out at night with camera now. Livorno is so beautiful with lights and their reflection on water.

    It's beautiful! The lights make a rainbow of colors. You shoudl definitely take your camera out more at night.

    Who said you weren't good at night? This is superb. You got the light at that magical time when the blue sky meets the earth...a very brief time and the picture is very well composed, with great interest.

    I like it too! The sapphire blue sky is beautiful and so are the multicolored lights reflecting on the water.
