A “cantina” is a vaulted room which faces the water and usually runs partly under the street along the canal, which in this case is called “Scali”. These spaces were originally intended as storerooms, but now they are mostly used for leisure. This is the “cantina” owned by Maurizio and by his friend Luciano.

Looks like a fun and cozy space.
Looks like a place that I will enjoy.
Looks to me like a good place to crack my head on the ceiling. :-)
Interesting looking place.
Are tall people in danger?
That's cool how these spaces were reworked.
Nice to see it re-used this way.
I always thought a cantina was a bar VP, it's a cosy little space there.
The old brick structure is wonderful.
It's quite beautiful what with all that brickwork. Looks like a nice place to have a drink or a bite to eat with a friend.
Kind of like a man-made cave running under the street. I like all the brick used here.
The vault is fabulous!
I love the vaulted ceiling! That is a great arch.
I really like the style of the place.
Looks like a place for great brick oven pizzas in the States.
I love these "cantine" !
