On January 19, 1998, 17-years-old Christian Bartoli died for a ruptured aneurysm after two days of intensive care. His parents chose to donate his organs, changing forever the lives of those who received them. In 1999 a small square near the “Tre Ponti” (Three Bridges) beach was named after him.

A really tragic event and a great gesture of the parents...
That's really sweet. What a nice way to remember this boy.
Such a giving action by the parents during a terrible time.
Very nice VP. Beautiful gesture.
I agree with Michelle. What a great tribute to this young man.
What a kind gesture.
Nice way to do positive things, but not always so easy to think out when you as a parent is in a situation like that.
I never thought of having public recognition of those who give life after death. Maybe it is a good idea and would encourage others.
The sign is unusual, simple, and nice.
Rest in peace, Christian Bartoli.
I think this sign is a beautiful homage for this boy!

Giusto omaggio a chi è stato sfortunato e rivive in altri...ciao, Arianna!
At a painful time like that, it must have been very hard for the parents to concentrate on the needs of others. Nice way to recognize and remember the young man.
