A Lion of Shanghai

Still roaming the streets of the “Shangay” quarter, we have found this proud lion “marzocco” watching the walls of a house. We have already seen the house of the azulejos, but we missed this composition in a corner of the garden.

LDP meets VDP

As you probably know we are in Paris and yesterday afternoon we had the pleasure to meet our fellow blogger cieldequimper of Versailles Daily Photo. We had a nice dinner together and we spent some great time chatting.

Azulejos

We were looking for the “Otto e Mezzo Studios” in the quarter of Shangay, when we found this house in “Viale Diacinto Cestoni”.The facade is unusually decorated by a couple of azulejo panels.

Livorno Sightseeing

This bus, parked in front of the Chamber of Commerce, is part of a franchise present in many cities around the world.Piazza Cavour”, sadly misspelled on the sign, is one of the stops of a 60 minutes hop-on-hop-off bus tour, which would cost 12 Euro.City Sightseeing arrived here a couple of years ago and is an easy choice for a quick tour of Livorno.
By the way, we are in Paris since yesterday afternoon, but we are doing most of our sightseeing on foot or by métro.
