A Sad Day
It is sad to be abroad on vacation and suddenly hear of the catastrophe that just happened in our hometown.
Let's hope for the better... (Already posted on Instagram)

The Gazebo
The Padiglione della Musica (Music Pavilion) was built in 1935 by the architect Ghino Venturi, when the Terrazza Mascagni was still named after the local Fascist leader, Costanzo Ciano. Destroyed in the Second World War, the structure was rebuilt in 1998 as closely possible to the original and now it is called simply “Gazebo”.

Not Copper
Copper theft is quite common here: someone probably took this copper-colored cladding for the real thing.
