Our city-owned garbage collection company is nearly bankrupt, but still managed to spend some money for these silly trash bins: “rifiuti a canestro” means “garbage through the hoop”.
But they're cute. And people will take pictures of them. I don't think they'll hold a lot of trash, though, so will need to be emptied often. That could be a problem.
