Tornado

Yesterday, at about 7:30 AM, a small tornado hit the center of Livorno.

Damages were not substantial, but there was a lot of work for our firefighters.

  5. OMG! I had no idea you had tornadoes in that area. They're awful. Florida gets a lot of them; often on the back end of hurricanes. I hope no one was hurt. Great shot of the firefighters!

  6. In quiet times we tend to forget that the world is a dangerous place.
    I'm so glad Livorno was spared any greater damage. Good onya for going out and documenting the places hit. A tornado, wow!
    That fire truck hardly has enough room in the narrow street.

  8. Tornadoes are scary, that's for sure! The streets are so narrow that I'm amazed that the firefighters can get through!

  11. I see that I'm not the only one who finds it strange to hear of a tornado in Italy. I'm glad there wasn't much damage. Over hear, they can be quite devastating as I'm sure you've heard.

    Tornado.... is what we hear about on the news, something happening in the USA.... or a long long away from Europe.
