A Gallery and a Museum

The bishop of Livorno has recently announced the intention of transforming the small porticoes on the sides of our Cathedral in a permanent gallery and a diocesan museum of sorts.

    So what do you think about that? In some ways, I like it, and in other ways I'm wondering if the church should be spending that money to more directly impact people who might need it...

    A nice church.
    It reminds me of a church I visited in Trastevere in Rome, many years ago.

    I hope they will fill the gallery with beautiful art.
