Magnolia × soulangeana

Magnolia × soulangeana, Via Montebello, Livorno
Flowers of a Magnolia × soulangeana at the corner of Via Montebello with Via Ebat. The x in the name means that the plant is an hybrid. The x is not pronounced, but replaced with “the hybrid species.” In this case: “Magnolia, the hybrid species soulangeana.” (Picture taken last March)

  10. Lovely blossoms! I'm amazed they were blooming in March. We still had tons of snow here north of Toronto then!
