Lovely photo. Very colorful ship. I would love to make this journey.
The ferries on the Mediterranean coastline are much bigger than the ferries I see on the east coast of the USA. We don't have big offshore islands like Corsica, so bridges carry most of the traffic to the smaller and closer islands.
Four hours. So it is that far, eh? I would gladly sail 4 hours, 4 weeks ...
There really is a sense of excitement when any kind of boat leaves shore.
Why would I want to go there of all places? :-)
I wouldn't mind being on the boat to Corsica!
I'm leery of ferries like this after recent disasters.
Nice shot VP. I didn't realize that it took 4 hours from Livorno to get to Corsica.
