Third Day without Water

auspice dell'opera

Yesterday, on the other side of the same square, longer lines to get some water, with the above mentioned monument in background.

    I am becoming increasingly worried for the citizens of Livorno. An absence of fresh water can be very serious. Good luck, VP.

    What cruel irony. The Duke would not be happy with your situation.
    The photos in your newspaper links really show the muddy mess of the pipes. And in one, even the pigeons are hanging around the water tanker in the street. Oi ...

    I second Dina regarding the irony. It's a clever post but I hope the problem will be solved soon. Three days without water is such a mess in everyone's daily life.
