Sad Nereid

Neptune and the Nereids fountain, LivornoA Nereid of the fountain of Neptune. I can't really say what is she thinking, Any idea?

    Nereids--ha, it has been half a century since I heard that. It was the name of our girls synchronized swimming group in Chicago high school.
