“Via degli Archi” (Archways Street) links “Borgo dei Cappuccini” with “Borgo Sant'Jacopo”. The name comes from the archways at both ends of the street.

A narrow street which runs mostly between fields, it is more like a misplaced suburban road, not far from the city center.

At the other end one more archway reasserts the peculiar name.

ReplyDeleteThe archways are beautiful and speak of earlier times long before North America was settled by Europeans.
