Thank God

Thank God I'm an Atheist, Santa Maria del Soccorso church, Livorno“Grazie a Dio sono ateo” (Thank God I'm an Atheist): I wonder if the writer knows he is quoting Luis Buñuel.
This is the side wall of the church of “Santa Maria del Soccorso”.

  8. Well, Luther nailed some papers on a church door once. Maybe this "statement of faith" on the church wall is a continuation of such traditions.

  9. I love Bunuel's humour and subscribe to it entirely. I'm not too sure about graffitis on anything and even less a church though...

  10. Even if I know graffiti is the new kind of art, I am upset when I see it on public monuments of any kind. There are enough other walls...
