Ship Lift

Ship lift, Benetti Shipyard, Johanna, Kaleido Beau, LivornoA view of the “Darsena Morosini” now part of the Benetti shipyard. The set of blue mechanic arms just beyond the first yacht (the 35m “Johanna”) is the new ship lift, inaugurated last January with its first launch. The other boat is the 46m “Kaleido Beau”.

    Very interesting. Great image. I always like to see what is see what is happening on the dockside there. :)

    I used to be fascinated when our wooden fishing boat was lifted out of the water and always enjoyed painting it.

    That has got to be the 'neatest' shipyard ever VP, it looks so organized and colour co-ordinated! The white and blue with touches of yellow, perfect!
