I enjoy signs and signs with misspellings are the best! Great shots! Enjoyed :)
Well, at least they have character.
A little misspelling always provides some humor. Nice!
Salon is misspelled too. Coney Island's population is mostly Russian Jewish these days, so what's the impact on Italy?
No spell check??? LOL MB
I have a secret ambition to be a roving sign proofreader throughout the "English-speaking" world.
@ Bob Crowe - 'Salone', if a bit old fashioned, was the proper Italian word for a barber shop long before fancier names came from abroad to be misspelled here!
I like 'Stilist'.Lucy
Lol, this is so funny, just like the French going American with 'le jean's' or countless other examples!
heehee! Great finds ;D
Well, it is the same here, English is used more and more. I hope the owner of the sign "Stylist" will get a stylish new one...
Always fun to point out misspellings. I will sometimes send emails to companies, where I claim to be very upset about the mistakes I see.
Hmmm. You have excellent eyes to see mistakes in English, VP!
Beware going public... spelling counts!
Were these shops in Pisa? ;)
Yeah, in USA also. I remember my grandmother would go to the beauty salon.
I love this kind of finds. :-)
Hehe... I must admit to being a bit of a grammar cop myself. Nice finds.
