On the stone banks of our “fossi” we can find a lot of green: a whole tree near the bridge of “Piazza Cavour”.Another one in the tract in front of the “Benci” elementary school.A cascade of green on the northern wall of the “Fortezza Nuova”.
I love the attitude of plants that are determined to grow even in tight places. This post reminds me of works written about the vegetation of the Western Wall.
It is still green!
ReplyDeleteWalls of hope.

Nice to see the green in these photos. All of my green is now brown due to the change of the seasons.
ReplyDeleteYou still have green this time of year. How nice.
ReplyDeleteWe are green all the time because we get so much rain.

All those bushes, trees or even leaves mean life, and life on those bare stone walls, is hope! Have a nice Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt's a wonder, both because of being and green and mainly for its ability to hold to life on...

ReplyDeleteI believe both are fig trees (top and second shots). It's amazing how they always manage to thrive on walls. The cascade of green is awesome!
ReplyDelete@ JM - I think you are right: once and then I have spotted small fruits on them.
ReplyDeleteYa, BROWN is the color these days around here... just brown, golds, burnt orange.
ReplyDeleteNice subject, the last photo is my favourite this time:)
ReplyDeleteNow that is very cool.
ReplyDeleteI really like it when mother nature begins growing in, on and over man's constructions. Beautiful!
