It is now a few months since this machine appeared, quite aptly, in the area of “Borgo dei Cappuccini”.Try it - Raw milk vending machine - All the health benefits of the fresh milk just milked.
I suppose the bars are to protect the machine from the nasties roaming Livorno. The school in which I taught had cages for coke machines so the kids didn't destroy them!
The raw milk thing is interesting...can't sell raw milk in this country but there's a movement now to change the laws.
I used to work on farms when I was a kid...raw milk is awful! And it's also dangerous. That's why it's pasteurized!
Why is it so many people seem to want to go back to the 16th century?

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Steffe!
ReplyDeleteDecades ago since last enjoyed, liked it very much.
ReplyDeleteOnce I also got lost while walking in a forest, until met by a person offering me fresh goat milk. Thank you for the memories.
Please have a good Sunday.

Raw milk in a vending machine in a cage--now I've seen everything!
ReplyDelete@ Jacob - I agree with you about the taste and the strange backward craze...
ReplyDelete@ MB - 'Fresh' and 'machine' just don't go well together.
@ Dina - You forgot to mention the name of the street!
Bizarre... and maybe stupid.
ReplyDeletei've never seen anything like that:)
ReplyDeleteYeah, and it's been in the machine how long?
ReplyDeleteThis is new to me and I don't think I would try it! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh right,
ReplyDelete. . . in Borgo dei Cappuccini.
No way am I drinking "raw" milk. Fresh pasteurised milk is bad enough. Ewww.
ReplyDeleteI've never had raw milk. Non-fat milk is about as close to "raw" as I get! ;D
ReplyDeleteThat is so cool! I've never seen a raw milk vending machine before.
