Some strange and picturesque names of restaurants and eateries: “Magazzino” (Warehouse) in “Viale Caprera”.“El Gringo” in “Corso Amedeo”.My first... “Ristopub”! This is in “Via Buia” (Dark Street).
Shops and restaurants do choose the strangest names sometimes. Warehouse is a clothing store here, though I like the looks of yours better. And LOL at your ristopub — here it's restobar. :D
I wonder what I'd be having tonight in that Ristopub.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of images and names for restaurants!

ReplyDeleteGuess it might be of interest to write a small book about them, maybe discovering some great stories behind those names.
ReplyDeletePlease have a good Tuesday.

Very strange things in Livorno!
ReplyDelete"Warehouse" of what? Vino?
"El Gringo" - isn't that Spanish?
"Old West Ristopub"? I have no clue what that's all about.
Do some Livornese (sp?) have a thing for the mythological "old west" of the U.S. 19th century?
Very funny, though!
Those are great. Now which one to pick, all of them!
ReplyDeleteI love the giant fork.
ReplyDeleteI like Ristopub. Have never seen one by that name :)
ReplyDeleteFun! It seems like any theme you choose you find plenty of convincing examples to show us. :)

ReplyDeleteExploring each one for a drink or two might reveal some interesting background information. Worth a try!
ReplyDeleteThere is a Kofibar near the UN building in New York...
ReplyDeleteKofibar at the UN, lol.
ReplyDeleteThese are funny, especially the ristopub. I wonder if we have restopubs here, I'll keep an eye open!
I'd love to try every one of them.
ReplyDeleteFunny session of restaurant and names!
ReplyDeleteI have no idea what could be that "ristopub", maybe pasta with beer?
