A last farewell to “Effetto Venezia”. “Cocomero” is watermelon.I'm not sure what is this... but I like it!“Riservato” is reserved. All spectators are equal, but some are more equal than others.

I will have to try that watermelon with Bacardi??
ReplyDeleteWell, now I know how to say watermelon in Italian. The fruit sounds very expensive but the cocktail is cheap. I'll take the latter.
ReplyDeleteWatermelon with rum? I should try that someday. Considering watermelon is available here almost all year round, I'm amazed I haven't seen this particular concoction yet.
ReplyDeleteThat hanging whatever-it-is looks very Indian. It would be nice as a shade for a hanging light bulb.
Your last comment made me grimace. So true.
Hilda is right, the second photo is an Indian lamp shade. I like it too. And I agree with Bob, your cocomero is molto costoso, but with the rum, okay! Your last photo: I don't think the world will ever get truly level; there will always be those treated as special... and sometimes, just sometimes, they are.
ReplyDeleteI hate melon. Those seats remind me of beach clubs where people go out early in the morning to reserve their place by throwing their towel on a seat. Always in the best place like this front row.
ReplyDeleteUm, watermelon with Rum---maybe--I'll try it just because. MB
ReplyDeleteWatermelon with Rum looks a crazy idea for me! LOL
ReplyDeleteI love that cute artwork in the second picture!

Sounds like a good way to end it all. Ah... watermelon and Bacardi. I'll take one.
ReplyDeleteRum has a little sweetness in itself because it is made from sugar. So it goes well with sweets of many kinds.
ReplyDeleteI like my watermelon plain, there are many better uses for a good rum...
ReplyDeleteThanks to Hilda and Francisca for the clarification about the lampshade.
Even at a minor event with few plastic chairs and no admission ticket, someone needs reserved places.
I can understand for something more important, but in this case it's only bad taste.
hehehe....i would like to try also that drink....nice foto!
ReplyDelete:) I'm going to miss your arrows at the Effetto Venezia.
ReplyDeleteAll in all, the prices can be accessed: AH Ah, ah!
ReplyDeleteCan't even remember when last time I had something with Rum. Returning from a 20+ million city, there surely were many of those "being more equal" than others. Please have a good Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteYour last photo had me laughing, again! :D
ReplyDeleteCocomero con Bacardi!? Mmmm... I have to try that! :-)
ReplyDeleteI'll have my cocomero with Habana Club, please!
