  2. Well, now I know how to say watermelon in Italian. The fruit sounds very expensive but the cocktail is cheap. I'll take the latter.

  3. Watermelon with rum? I should try that someday. Considering watermelon is available here almost all year round, I'm amazed I haven't seen this particular concoction yet.

That hanging whatever-it-is looks very Indian. It would be nice as a shade for a hanging light bulb.

Your last comment made me grimace. So true.

  4. Hilda is right, the second photo is an Indian lamp shade. I like it too. And I agree with Bob, your cocomero is molto costoso, but with the rum, okay! Your last photo: I don't think the world will ever get truly level; there will always be those treated as special... and sometimes, just sometimes, they are.

  5. I hate melon. Those seats remind me of beach clubs where people go out early in the morning to reserve their place by throwing their towel on a seat. Always in the best place like this front row.

  8. Sounds like a good way to end it all. Ah... watermelon and Bacardi. I'll take one.

  9. Rum has a little sweetness in itself because it is made from sugar. So it goes well with sweets of many kinds.

  10. I like my watermelon plain, there are many better uses for a good rum...
Thanks to Hilda and Francisca for the clarification about the lampshade.
Even at a minor event with few plastic chairs and no admission ticket, someone needs reserved places.
I can understand for something more important, but in this case it's only bad taste.

  14. Can't even remember when last time I had something with Rum. Returning from a 20+ million city, there surely were many of those "being more equal" than others. Please have a good Tuesday.
