Looking for the Sun

This Sunday the sun was nowhere to be seen, so I spent my afternoon walk in search of it. I didn't find the real one but at least caught some images of it. On the window of a tanning center...Another sun center, “La baia del sole” (The bay of the sun), many shining suns on its window either.
“Tende da sole” (sun awnings) has a smiling sun sporting shades.One more sun shines on the painted lawn of an Internet point.The last sun I saw was behind a trident on a damaged mosaic. So, looking for the sun, I found the sea either!

    I guess you could say the sun is always shining someplace; all you have to do is look for it.

    You are so funny! I can't imagine one would find so many "suns" during a stroll through town. I wouldn't even know where to start here. Of course, and I probably shouldn't say this, but we had bright sunshine all day and 70 degrees (F).

    Can't imagine in this day and age people still go to tanning parlors to get skin cancer. But they do. Even here in Florida.

    Nice to notice the different methods to create different look comic portraits of SUN! Some of those art forms remind me of my school days when as a kid I used to make paintings using water color! Almost all my memory-drawing paintings used to be a nature scene including a sun in the horizon and few mountains....:-D When I was asked, why I always repeated the sunset, I used to tell the teacher, "What I made last time was a sunset, now this one's a sunrise :-))"

    I love the last photo 'cause everything done with tiles is amazing. There's no sun here either and it's getting very depressing.

    I'm looking for the sun as well!
    So glad to see the Sun and beautiful decorations in your post.
    When I moved to here, people said it was not easy to hold Autumn's days, mainly in November and I could not understand the reason.But now...I can feel the reason! LOL
    I think it's about 3 weeks without Sun!
    May I go to Italy to visit your city?
    It's a dream, a good dream the possibility to come back to Italy, I love Italy...some day okay!

    I know where the sun was: over London! We had gorgeous sunshine all day long :-)

    I didn't think Italians would have a need for tanning salons!!
