Still posting “canned” images of Livorno from Paris: the photo of this lonely bird was taken about a month ago at the Elba pier, inside the “Porto Mediceo”.
Sparrows are such dainty little things. I love the way the colors of its plumage are echoed in the colors of the rust and in the background. Nice shot.
I'm glad you took your pix with you and are taking the time to post. I love your blog. But, after saying that . . . don't miss out on your vacation! :)
Aah, the little sparrow. Every country has them aye. Nice capture

How wonderful of him to pose for you!
ReplyDeleteI sure hope you're not spending too much time in front of the computer on your vacation! ;)
Nicely done. It's hard to capture a bird's beaky expression but you've done it here.
ReplyDeleteAnd you needn't apologize for what you call "canned" images...they are worthy photographs and it matters not when or where you took them!
And have a good week!
Awww I like this! Well captured :-)
ReplyDeleteThis helps me overcome my mood :). Love everything in this photo. The rusty bollard, the bird and the water in the background.
