We are in the “Venezia” quarter of Livorno, so called because it is crossed by several canals called “fossi”.In a renovated and just repainted building, these windows stand out, screaming attention to the passing photographer.A different set of windows in the same quarter, this time seen through their reflection in the water of the “fosso”.
Lovely sharp pastels and dreamy reflection.
ReplyDeleteI swear the first photo could have been taken in Brittany! ;-) The reflections are marvellous!
ReplyDeleteI love those windows, they are so simple and elegant with white shutters. The photo with reflection is great!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week:)
Fantastic series!
ReplyDeleteReminds me lovely, colorful houses in Murano :-)
They look mysterious, all are closed. Well, they got your attention :).
ReplyDeleteLove the white shutters and pretty pastel colors!
ReplyDeletePhotographer haven.
ReplyDeleteNice photos. I always have me eyes open for windows when I'm out with the camera. Not sure why could be that I'm looking for the symmetry or something.
ReplyDeleteHow different these shots would look with the shutters open. Love all three.
ReplyDeleteOne of these shutters is not like the others. Makes for more interest in an already lovely setting.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what the windows look out at?
ReplyDeleteVery colorful and very creative...which brings me to say that Lois Anne and I have awarded you the Honest Scrap Award...this is a very prestigious award and you should be proud!

ReplyDeleteLovely colours - great shots!
ReplyDeleteI was just about to leave on a comment on your latest post when your comment came thru on pastels. You are so right. These are newer, Menton's are older - well at least the ones on the photo.
ReplyDeleteI just love that final reflection shot. Beautiful.
