One of the four Landing Craft Vehicle and Personnel (LCVPs) embarked, and one of the four Phalanx CIWS.

You may have noticed this ship on her Olympic duty when, moored at Greenwich, she provided logistics support and was used as helicopter landing site during the London 2012 Olympic Games.

    I didn't know what an assault ship was until I spent time last winter in San Diego. Most impressive.

    Perfect perspective in your first shot VP and interesting details. Your harbour shots always make me want to jump in the car and head down to Fremantle port :)
