Theme Day: Bicycle

Green Bike, Porto Mediceo, Livorno
This yellow bicycle proclaims clearly that it is a ‘green bike’. This may sounds vaguely Magrittian, but it is also true because ‘Green Bike’ is the name of the shop that rents these bicycles in Livorno.

  4. Rental bikes are relatively easr to spot, VP, due to their robustness. Typical locale for your theme day!

  5. Yellow is such a great colour for a bike. It's easier to notice than most colours.

  10. Haha! So this is not really a bike at all VP, just a representation of a bike.. well to us looking at the image anyway, to you it is very real although there is confusion as to the colour :)
    p.s. I'm confused :) :)

  11. Bike rentals are becoming more and more available wherever you go. It would be fun to rent one and roam the countryside for a while. The cities might be a bit to scary.

  16. Aren't bikes green by just the fact that they only take human power to run them? I do love this bright yellow though. Thanks for picking this theme day, I really liked it!
