At 6:08 AM another ferry comes from Sardinia: the “Mega Andrea”. Still outside the breakwater we can already see the cruise ship “Norwegian Epic”, our next entry.

Glad I'm not responsible for navigating these mammoth ships into and out of port. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very large ferry boat. Movement in and out of port must take considerable concentration on the part of a large crew. That also seems to be a very large cruise ship. All these people arriving at one time must overwhelm your town.
ReplyDelete"Mega" is the right word !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful ferry !
Lots of tourists arriving!
ReplyDeleteThis is a ferry company I would trust as the boat seems to be in excellent condition. Ut sure is HUGE!
ReplyDeleteHa! Only 'woman' I know that you can probably get away with calling her 'mega'. Poor Andrea.
ReplyDeleteI famosi traghetti gialli! Ciao, Arianna
ReplyDeleteBirdman - In Italian Andrea is only a male name...
ReplyDeleteI bet it is fascinating to watch these huge boats come and go.
ReplyDeleteLove the Mega Andrea shot with the white capped person looking out. Crew?
ReplyDeleteA giant! And, so very yellow! :)
ReplyDeleteA fine-looking ship!
ReplyDeleteciel - He has epaulets and white shoes, so I think he is an officer...
ReplyDeleteNice to see yellow big ship. Most of ships here are red or white or blue.
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to sit and watch the comings and goings in your harbour VP.. Is that another big cruiser I see coming a bit behind there?
ReplyDeleteQuite a bright yellow!
ReplyDeleteI like these images, each one of them.
ReplyDeleteInteresting posting.
Great bright colour on MEGA ANDREA.
I like the looks of this ferry. It might be the paint job that draws my eye.
