As promised
last Saturday, here is the first part of my early morning watch at the entrance of the port.
At 5:51 AM the fishing boat “Atlantide II” is the first vessel I saw entering the port.
At 5:53 AM the ferry “
Moby Wonder” arrives from Olbia, Sardinia. At 5:58 AM the bunker tanker “
Giglio” enters the action, ready to refuel ferries and other ships. The sun rises today at 5:58 AM, but it is still behind the hills.

I think the Alantide suits me best, though the Moby's quite colourful!
ReplyDeleteKind of an amusing sign on the Giglio--"No smoking". Well I hope so. :-)
ReplyDeleteI always like to see Bugs Bunny!
ReplyDeletedIt appears to be a pretty busy port. Good photos of the vessels.
ReplyDeleteI'm always amused to see the colourful Moby Wonder.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to start the day. I don't know if I'd ever make it to work!

I think it would be very pleasant to watch ships come and go. Relaxing!
ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful variety of ships, all within ten minutes.
ReplyDeleteHahaha LOVE the 'Moby'. Is there a sister ship the 'Dick'? Just wondering.
ReplyDeleteThose are all pretty close together. Must be a busy port.
ReplyDeleteGoodness me, all in the space of less than ten minutes... more coming VP? I like this idea very much.
ReplyDeleteSo busy so early in the morning! I must be missing a lot that goes on in the early morning. ;-))
ReplyDeleteI am amazed by the ferry, nice!
ReplyDeleteA real log book. Keep them coming.
ReplyDeleteSarebbe bello stare al porto tutta la mattina...ciao, Arianna
