Ovo Sodo

Our rowing season has become increasingly boring because of the superiority of the Venezia team. Two rowers of the Benci-Centro, nicknamed “Ovo Sodo” (Hardboiled Egg) for its colors, are relaxing on the jetty of their “cantina” just before the “Coppa Ilio Barontini”. The race was then won, as always, by the Venezia.

    I wonder if some of those Venezia guys are pictured out practicing in the header photo on my travel blog site. I took the photo somewhere in the Venice lagoon.
    Hard-boiled egg.....great nickname.

    Sharon - When I say Venezia (Venice) I mean a quarter of Livorno. It takes its name from the many canals and bridges crisscrossing it.
