The
new building and the rest of the complex at the “Scoglio della Regina” (Queen's Rock) are almost finished: the piazza has already a few benches, but the
mysterious statue is still completely wrapped.
The pattern of the paving is eye-catching and almost hypnotic. On a side there is also a small jetty.
Sadly, the nearby
Big Blue Shed is getting bluer and more conspicuous by the day...

I can hear bicyclists warning each other now not to look down. :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the pattern on the flooring/walkway.
ReplyDeleteThe building and the paving are quite dramatic and they fit together nicely. I am still holding off forming an opinion about the blue structure.
ReplyDeleteI like that pattern too.
ReplyDeleteI love your perspective in the first shot. And that sky - so blue!!! It will be interesting to see what lies under the wraps.
ReplyDeleteIl cielo azzurro! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat piazza. The building reminds me of Rome's EUR.
Oh dear, I am so sorry!
ReplyDeleteYour first picture makes it look really nice.
ReplyDeleteInteresting wavy paving - it seems so appropriate beside the ocean. ;)
ReplyDeleteGreat set of shots VP. I think it is looking nice.
ReplyDeleteIt is looking good so far!
ReplyDeleteI do like the pattern of the paving stones.
ReplyDeleteWow, that top photo is very impressive. All that space, the pattern in the plaza and the stark look of the building and then that wrapped statue. It all makes a stunning photo.
ReplyDeleteThat pattern is beautiful though dizzying.
ReplyDeleteLooking not too bad with that fantastic blue sky!
ReplyDeleteLove that pattern.
