I had one of these - a late 50s model. In Chicago. It had no heat! I had to get rid of it. The kids nearly froze to death! This one has been well-kept.
Fine looking old Beetle. They were fun to drive, but not as reliable as they should have been. This one looks well loved. The color must have been fashionable when the car was new.
I think they should change that to at least 40 years. Nice looking "bubbla".
ReplyDeletePea green.
ReplyDeleteMy parents had a couple of the classic models.
ReplyDeleteA cool machine :)
ReplyDeleteYes it is! Love those matching wheels, but I'm not sure about that color.
ReplyDeleteAlways a favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove the color.
ReplyDeleteThat's certainly not a color you see anymore these days.
ReplyDeleteAlways nice, we call them "Käfer".
ReplyDeleteMy first Car !!
ReplyDeleteStill looking good!

ReplyDeleteI see the hub caps come in the same shade of green, nice one VP :)
ReplyDeleteThe Love Bug!
ReplyDeleteI remember my grandparents owned a black beetle.
ReplyDeleteThis green is really special!
The real thing! Love it (but I'd put a bit of air in that back tyre!)
ReplyDeleteFun to drive but not in the winter! ;-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this little green car almost as much I loved the red one I owned many years ago!
