On the
pendentives of the dome of the church of
San Benedetto we can see four angels. The reliefs are the work of the local sculptor Paolo Emilio Demi (1798-1863), who is also the author of the monument to
Leopold II of Tuscany in Piazza XX Settembre, just in front of the same church.
