On Wednesday afternoon the vehicle carrier “Violet Ace” got stuck entering the port.

At last, the 185-meter ship was escorted into port: up to five tugs were involved in the rescue.

Bummer! But this makes me feel better about my car parking skills. :-)
ReplyDeleteThat's something the crew won't hear the end of anytime soon. Very choppy water.

ReplyDeleteTug boats to the rescue.
ReplyDeleteWow, action shots. I absolutely adore tha last one. You could frame it!
ReplyDeleteReally, such dramatic shots, ones I won't forget soon!
ReplyDeleteSo hard for me to imagine such a ship "getting stuck." Oi! God bless the little tug boats and their brave crews.

ReplyDeleteWhat a job for those tugs. The ship is enormous!
ReplyDeleteWeird-shaped ship.
ReplyDeleteVP these are great shots! Love it when you post them.
ReplyDeleteIl tempo non era dei migliori! Ciao, Arianna
