ReplyDeletelooks quite regal
ReplyDeleteBet that little boat feels really small.
ReplyDeleteA boat so tiny but which carries such an important man.
ReplyDeleteThis brings back fond memories of the good ship Enotria. When she was about to squeeze through the Straits of Corinth a fellow passenger told me that now the pilot was coming aboard.
At the tender age of 22 I thought pilots were only for airplanes.
A week on the Mediterranean taught me much.
God bless the pilots.
The floating city...
ReplyDeleteI love the pilot boats. The pilots are usually quite friendly as well and will wave at passengers. :)

ReplyDeleteThat is a big one.
ReplyDeletethat's an impressive ship!
ReplyDeleteWish I could go with her... As I'm a curious boyo, I had to check: current position, in the Sea of Marmara, near Gelibolu/Gallipoli. Coming from Istambul, and about to enter the Bosporus
