I didn't see much beauty around me this Sunday morning: the first two streets are within few meters from the central
Piazza Cavour and the crudely defaced white surface of the third photo is part of the
monument to the soldiers fallen in the First World War, in Piazza della Vittoria.

Your photos are wonderful. I see graffiti a lot here in Montreal as well.
ReplyDeleteHow distressing that such destruction has become the norm in many places. We have way too much of it in the States, too.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that I don't like seeing this graffiti!
ReplyDeleteHow can these people not care. It's so sad.
ReplyDeleteThe defacement of the monument is the saddest.
ReplyDeleteThe bottles, well, at least they left most of them neatly bagged.
You did go out the morning after Saturday night.
The mixture of trash and graffiti is sad to see. Some people have no respect for the community where they live or for themselves.
ReplyDeleteDina - It was Sunday around noon, but you can find there plenty of empty beer bottles every day of the week.
ReplyDeleteOh no...
ReplyDeletelooks sad :(
ReplyDeleteLéia
Very sad images VP.
ReplyDeleteOMG, VP!
ReplyDeleteNow I understand your disappointments.
The Municipality of Livorno should prevent drinking beer in public places. Joking aside, it's a shame that beautiful Italian cities are degraded in this way.
Just SAD:(
