Taking Pictures

A few more shots by Trillian on Ferragosto.
Ferragosto, port of Livorno
I will never understand how people can be fond of a picture taken like that. Photographically speaking.
Ferragosto, port of Livorno
I never saw this one coming: your truly was caught shooting something in a desert part of the port.

  2. You are still very well hidden except for those with eyes like hawks.

  3. The lone man in the deserted port. Classic!

I agree. The few times I took self portraits, I came out all distorted. Maybe my arms are not long enough.

Trillian, you find such fun subjects for your photography.

  6. I rather often take photos of me and my wife or with a group of friends like that. I sometimes have my tripod on hand, which is much better though!

  7. I did a 365 project at flickr a few years back, that meant shooting one self portrait every day, for one year, I will never do that again.

  8. I've never made a self portrait in this way, but one day I must try it.
What about a self portrait with timer, so as in old days?

  9. I often say: Somebody must photograph the photographer. A closer view would have been nice though.
